HOUSE MF

The apartment is located in an early 20th-century building in Milan’s Navigli district. It is approximately 250 square meters in size and spans two levels: the lower level houses the living area, consisting of an entryway, a large living room, the kitchen, the dining room, and a bathroom; the upper level houses the sleeping area, with four bedrooms, a walk-in closet, and two bathrooms.

The renovation preserved the traces of the past within the apartment, seeking to give the home—though very large—a warm and intimate feel, one that could accommodate family heirlooms, personal mementos, contemporary design pieces, and even items found at flea markets.

The furnishings were carefully selected from showrooms, modern antique shops, and flea markets, creating an eclectic mix that successfully incorporates and complements the family’s heirlooms and keeps the home free from fleeting fashion trends.
