DEFERRARI+MODESTI was founded in 2010 in Florence by Lavinia Modesti and Javier Deferrari

Multidisciplinary firm that deals with architectural design, exhibition design, interiors and design. Since 2010 we work together designing private residences, bars, restaurants, stands, offices and products.

We follow all the phases of the design process, to meet the needs of the customer, following the initial phase up to the realization of the project.

We develop projects and collaborations for both private clients and major companies, associations and institutions, including Mirage, Museo Piaggio, Marca Corona, Targetti, Ex.T, PALP.

In 2014, with the "Versa-tile" collection, we won the third prize of the Res-tile competition promoted by Mirage. The Xgone coating system, designed for Mirage, was selected in the Adi Design Index 2015 and a candidate for the XXIV Compasso d'Oro.

In 2017 the project of the Brac Bookshop received the special mention of the "Bar and Restaurants by Author" award promoted by IN / ARCH with Archilovers, University of Roma Tre, Artribune and the patronage of ADI.

In the same year the study was selected in the exhibition "Next future. 45 Italian designers under 40 "curated by Luigi Prestinenza Puglisi and Monica A. G. Scanu.

From 2017 we collaborate with IED as coordinators and teachers of the Bachelor's Degree in Interior and Furniture Design.
