A stone's throw from the lively piazzetta of Sant'Ambrogio in Florence, Poké by Miya opens, where you can stop in company and order good food.
The venue consists of a main entrance area and two internal rooms where you can sit once you have placed your order. The spaces have direct street views and are characterized by traditional materials, such as wooden ceilings and exposed brick walls. From the outside, the gaze of passers-by is captured by the wall mosaics, real internal scenographies, which work as wings in the space and act as a backdrop to the activities of the venue.
The two mosaic walls recreate a play of warm tones, in various shades, also reflected in the terracotta red of the counter and the wood essences of the furnishings. The counter has been custom-designed and set up to meet the needs of food preparation. A ceramic boiserie covers the walls and serves as the backrest for one of the two wooden benches, also custom-designed and usable as containers for objects and utensils.
