In this project, the theme of the “Tree of Life” is not just an abstract reference image, but the starting point from which to develop a hypothesis for transforming a portion of land, currently empty, into a hospitable environment for new life and suitable for new uses by populations in different time phases; a process of “gentle colonization” aimed at creating an energetically sustainable and technologically innovative system, an environment rich in symbolic and evocative meanings and articulated in the spatial solutions identified, in a single statement, a living organism, as well as a living landscape.
