Company Canteen

We had the pleasure of collaborating with Castelfalfi, a 1,100-hectare estate offering five-star hospitality, the largest golf course in Tuscany and extensive agricultural production. Located near Florence and immersed in the rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside, the medieval village has evolved into a lively and welcoming destination for both local and international guests.

DEFERRARI+MODESTI was commissioned to design the staff restaurant, with the aim of rethinking the spaces dedicated to socialising and sharing for the resort’s employees. The project responds to the client’s desire to renovate the areas used by staff and bring their spatial quality into line with the interiors of the guest facilities.

The project interprets the staff restaurant not simply as a functional space, but as a place for meeting, taking a break and spending time together. Materials, colours, furniture and details create a welcoming and carefully considered environment, designed to improve the everyday experience of those who work at the resort.
