The proposal enthusiastically embraces the invitation to reorganize and redesign the exhibition spaces at Palazzo Magnani.
On the ground floor, the atrium leads to the loggia, the service areas—such as the ticket office, the bookshop, the coat check, and the storage room—and to the two exhibition halls, which can also be used to host events of various kinds for the general public outside the scope of the exhibition. The information desk, which we have renamed “Spazio Magnani,” is accessed via a separate entrance; it can host educational workshops and small exhibitions. The first floor is entirely occupied by the galleries dedicated to the main exhibitions.
The exhibition system is modular, flexible, and adaptable in its configurations, capable of displaying content of various types and sizes and easily creating spaces suitable for one-time events. TheExhibition Design allows you to expand or reduce the exhibition area and create different layouts and configurations as needed.
The project functions within the palace’s spaces much like a stage mechanism. The wall-mounted elements slide along the perimeter support system, combining in different configurations each time, with varying formats, elements, and supports. It is a system that houses and integrates both the mechanical and electrical systems and the wall-mountedExhibition Design devices into a single horizontal element. The lighting system is fully integrated with the Exhibition Design system: it will ensure lighting that is designed not only to highlight the exhibits but also to enhance the rooms themselves.
