Villa FB

Nestled in the pine forest of Forte dei Marmi, Villa FB is a holiday home designed for a family and for an open, bright, and informal summer lifestyle. DEFERRARI+MODESTI oversaw the interior design project, focusing on the seamless connection between the interior, the garden, the veranda, and the terraces through a sequence of fluid spaces, natural materials, custom-made furnishings, and subtle colour accents.

On the ground floor, the living room and kitchen open up to the outdoors through large windows. The travertine flooring defines the common areas, while wood, natural tones, and the sage green of the kitchen create an understated Mediterranean atmosphere. Upstairs, the bedrooms overlooking the terraces have a more intimate feel, with oak floors and private bathrooms featuring marble and a variety of colour schemes.

Custom-made furniture, vintage pieces, works of art, and textiles come together to create an informal, layered domestic environment. The design seeks a balance between materials and colour, precision and naturalness, resulting in a holiday home that interacts harmoniously with the light, the garden, and the landscape of Forte dei Marmi.
